my cats are insuff due to a 420 code coming up... does this hurt my cars performance or just ability to reduce emmisions?

also should i turn off the cat cooling in the performance tune or leave it alone?

Do you have cats on the car?
If so, you need to leave the COT enabled.
You can disable the rear O2 sensors in the modified parameter section of the Predator.
