I just received my new trinity and after getting it updated and installing the 93 octane tune im now having headlight issues. Not all the time but sparodically. First time when putting my right turn signal on my right headlight went out. Now sometimes the right headlight works and other times it goes out for no reason. Started doing this as soon as i loaded the trinity. Any thoughts or suggestions ? i have an 08 dodge ram with the hemi. All stock except for the trinity. Im new to these tuners so all help is appreciated.

I have never seen these to be related issues in any way...

Are you by any chance running an aftermarket HID kit? If you are, you need to upgrade the wiring harness. The stock wiring can't handle the draw of igniting the ballasts reliably. Need a harness that runs straight from the battery.

No. The headlights and everything besides the trinity tune is stock. happened again tonight. Girlfriend was driving behind me in my truck . Whenever she put a blinker on the headlight on that side would go out. After the blinker cancelled the headlight would come back on. I downloaded stock tune and will drive it that way for a day or two and see if the issues goes away or not. Only does it when the mood strikes not all the time.

I know the Audi's when they put their turn signal the headlight turns off, maybe your car has the same setup ?

The headlight doesn't turn off, the daytime running light turns off. Thats because both use the same tube to transmit light, so both couldn't be on together.

I have 5 Dodge vehicles in my driveway and ALL have the safety feature ( select a direction and that headlamp turns off until the signal is cancelled) this feature is to allow oncoming traffic to see your intent.

Doesn't seem safe to me. Not at all. Turning off the headlight darkens the area you're turning into. Thats just flat out stupid. The the opposite of what should be happening. Thats why lots of cars have turning lights that turn on when you're turning or adaptive headlights that swivel, to put more light on the area you're turning into. I have both of those on my A6, extra LEDs that turn on under the normal low beam, and adaptive lights that light up the sides (as well as the DRLs that turn off while the turn signal is on).
