I've read through several posts griping about certain aspects of tuner results, from flat spots in various parts of the rev range, to jeckle & hide throttle response, to MDS not kicking in or staying engaged as much as stock for those concerned with mpg's, etc. One of the set ups I ran felt just a little flat at the top as well. I literally messed with mine all day, running about 4 different set ups, and found what seems to be the jackpot for my car. I can't say this will be the perfect batch for every car, but if you have a charger r/t or 5.7 hemi with a CAI you may want to try this. I have a 14 r/t charger with BBK cold air intake, and it pulled strong from the bottom to the top of the rev range with great throttle response that was balanced and noticeably better then stock. Every aspect of how it ran was AWESOME! Including fuel mileage, as I reset my MPG calculator as soon as I started it up, and drove around town doing pulls from red lights, freeway cruising & pulls, and came home w/ a reading of 25.6 mpg when I pulled back in my driveway as MDS was good about staying engaged when my foot wasn't in it. It was approximately a 75-80/20-25 freeway/city driving mix.
1) diablo tune (aka 93 octane)
2) shift firmness follow by TCM update/calibration
3) varied fuel richness increase on all 3 rev ranges - 1% richer low rev range, 2% richer mid rev range, 3% richer high rev range
4) throttle boost 2.5 to 4% (I ran 2.5 as it comes with 15% out the box from what I read)
5) enjoy
