Did you make sure to go thru the tuner itself and pick the options for 2011to 2014 dodge avenger /200 3.6

You have to make sure thw tuner knows what car your trying to tune before you plug it in the car.

Nothing ever came up for that. How can I go back and do so?

I think the only way to reset your tuner is to reset to stock and delete factory tune. As soon as I finished updates the tuner asked me for year, make, model, engine and tranny type of my car. If you did complete that step its probably your issue.

Yea they never came up. It won't let me restore vehicle to stock due to the fact that the tuner won't save my backup

Do you have the ability to have someone from your local dealership to flash your car back to stock?
On the Trinity in options, there is the option of forcing a tune/OEM restore, have you tried this?
Did the Trinity make a backup of your OEM software? Try copying the OE software to your PC, then ref lash the tuner for the DCX software, copy and paste the OE backup back to the proper folder and go from there....

the stock tune is currently on it. the intune dcx that I have wouldn't make a backup file. that's where I got stuck at
