I have a 2013 Ram 1500........
Installed the 87 tune and was working ok. Filled the tank with 91. Went to install 91 tune and tune failed to load. Trinity
restarted and tried to install Orignial tune because of failed 91 tune. The trinity would just restart and then would force a original tune load, because of previous load fail. And would cycle like this. After about the tenth time....... I gave up. Unplugged Unit and tried again, where it then did the same..... WTF need some help

Mine did the same thing, and I had it towed to the dealer and they reflashed the computer on the truck back to stock. When I went to get it they told me that the truck didn't have any software. I didn't tell them it was caused by a tuner so it was covered under warranty.

Did u try getting in contact with Diablo? If so what did they do for ya. Or did u just go straight to the dealer?

DO NOT GO TO THE DEALER!!! They'll feed you all the bullshit in the world about the computer being fried or blank or whatever. They have no idea what they're talking about. From experience, Mopar dealers generally have the dumbest "techs" on the planet. Calling most of them "techs" is being very generous. They're really just parts changers. They know nothing about cars. They know how to follow the service manual and thats it. You'll usually find 1 person per dealership who knows about cars, and the rest may as well be day workers that they pulled off a corner somewhere.
DiabloSport will get you up and running. With the Trinity its harder than the inTune, but they'll figure something out.

Thats what I figured, Hopefully its pretty straight forward. Just dont know if Ill keep the unit. Seems that with gas truck, not to much gain. Hopefully talking with them on Monday will change my mind in keeping it. Just seems that the unit isnt very "tuned" for RAMs. We will see...... Hope it works. Might just keep the stock tune and be happy

Mine was under warranty so that's why I brought it there. You'll have to call them with it plugged into the truck so they can troubleshoot it like that so have everything ready when you call.

Garrett told me to take it to the dealer for a flash as it would be quicker then doing the back n forth overnight stuff as my car is under warranty too. I agree with your analysis of the Techs, but what does that have to do with flashing the computer? Isnt their standard protocol to just flash and see if that works? Any parts installer should be able to do that. Or is there more to it then just flashing the computer?

The problem is, they tend to try to figure out what caused it to blank out. If they suspect a tune, they're probably gonna try to mark the warranty. Not sure how Chrysler is dealing with stuff like that at this point. I know GM, VW and BMW are labeling warranties if they suspect a tune. I wrote about it
here.
