CL7140 vs U7140 firmware update

I just received an e-mail concerning firmware update, but I'm not sure if I have a U7140 or CL7140. I have a C&L CAI but the predator box has U7140 on it. I updated the firmware once before. Can I just look somewhere on the predator to see which one I have? Thanks

When you power up the Predator, there is a screen that says "booting ..." with words after booting. What are they? If it says "stang_05" then it is a U7140.

can you update the u7140 to the cl7140?

fstbck1, No you can not put a crom file made for a cl7140 on a u7140. On the latest revision for the u7140 (R38) there are tunes for the C&L cold air kits in the tunes menu.

When I initially got my predator, I installed my c&l intake then plugged in the predator. It said 05 stang. I installed the c&l performance tune. Now when I plug in the predator, the boot up screen says C&L. So I am assuming it is a CL7140, Is that right? Jim
