Intune freezing up

Post by Kmcbride22 »

I bought a brand new intune I-1000 a few weeks ago and installed a tune on my 2009 Denali. After driving around with the Diablo tune for 2 tanks of premium fuel, I decided it was tme to step it down to the 87 octane tune so that I don't have to buy premium all the time. But when I plug the tuner in first I get a message saying no ecu found and to make sure that the key is turned to the on position, which it is, and then I press the ok button and it locks up every time at that point. I actually need to get this truck to the dealer very soon for my last free service before the warranty expires, so I'd like to be able to remove the tune altogether for this visit. Oh, and I can plug it into my 2011 Suburban and it finds the ECU, but of course I can't use it on this vehicle as it is currently married to the Denali.

That's correct, even after finding the Suburban multiple times, it will not find the Denali. Unfortunately, I'm not computer savvy at all and don't really know what your asking me to do as far as uploading the file.
