I have a 06 f250 6.0. I was looking at the predator U7165. I have a couple of concerns about this unit because all I can find is a lot of bad and not enough good. What are all the updates on this unit to take care of transmission concerns? Why should I pick this unit over another brand?

U7165 has been discontinued for some time now.
It does not have control over the trans however.

Yes I know it is discontinued but I can get a new one for $200 from summit. So the preloaded tunes don't adjust transmission at all? I don't care if I can adjust them.

correct, no trans control on Predator.
inTune and trinity offer TCM tuning.
