I already have the diablosport predator tune installed in this car (2006). I was thinking of changing the factory thermostat (190degrees) to the aftermarket 165 degrees.
would the current tune adjust itself or do I have to do anything with the predator?
thanks,
Mark

the tune won't adjust itself...
you would have to go in and play with the fan adjustments to really see any benefit, if any....

Have you changed your thermostat in the LS2 to the 160?

I checked the change parameters and the lowest number in degress for changing is 192. then it goes up the 190's and into the 200 degrees, 210 and I think the highest was 220 degrees. but the coolest was 190 or 192.
When I changed the stock rear end from the 390 to a 410 I contacted diable and they sent me a program to download to adjust the speedometer. I thought I should call and ask them personally?
today at 2pm right now the temperature out side is around 122 degrees if you could see why I really would like to get this fan temp lowered to come on sooner than 190's.
thanks for any help...Mark-Lake Havasu City, Arizona

can't... can't change the fan temps... can only change the % power that the fans run at...
you can not change the actual temps... 192* is the lowest setting you can change the fan power for...

[quote="06MonteSS"]canThey were able to send a download to adjust the speedometer for the 410 gear I changed. I will call them tuesday. I cant see why changing the fan setting to come on at the 165 degree level instead of the 192?
you mentioned changing the % power that the fans run at?
thanks again for taking the time for your input!

ps. this part of the countyr is in its monsoon season. I walked outside with the dogs about 5am. the temp was already at 92 but the problem was the humidity is near 50%. we moved here from chicago and that humidity is the worse! dont get me wrong. I lived in chicago all my life (duty disabled chicago cop). we moved here about 10yrs ago and I wouldnt trade this weather for the midwest for nothing.
anyway, thanks again!
