Question about the procedure post Force Cal Update.
I went through a Force Calibration Update yesterday with Garret, got that to work and installed updates via the DSD. My question is, am I able to get the backup drg I have saved in an email from when I was getting a custom tune back onto the truck? This is a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7. I have the HF tune installed now and I can't adjust anything because it won't backup anything due to the trinity tune being installed, and I can't restore the Original Backup because it tells me it hasn't been saved or is already installed.
Followup question, when I put the HF tune on the tool and it asks me to select the original backup (which I browse and select), can I ever really do anything with the backup file I select?
Thanks everyone!

the tool will read a new backup now that you have forced a cal update to the vehicle.

Is it suppose to read it automatically? My first step after the updates was I put the HF tune on the tool and selected the backup then plugged it back into the vehicle, was that wrong?
Maybe I need to call again and redo it, I have a feeling I missed a step in there somewhere.

Alright, yeah I messed that part up. I suppose I'll have to call again because the DSD is no longer showing the Calibration Update tab on the bottom. Thanks Mike!

Re: Question about the procedure post Force Cal Update.
I don't think so. Here are the steps I took:
Called tech support, they walked me through the steps while I was plugged into the truck, I took the trinity to my computer and it installed some updates, then I immediately loaded the HF tunes onto the tool and went back. I may have skipped past the prompt once I got back into the truck accidentally (my buttom sometimes sticks lately). I don't remember loading anything to the truck after getting the updates from the computer.

Re: Question about the procedure post Force Cal Update.
Unfortunately no, because it'll try and backup the tune then stop because it's the HF tune currently installed. I think I may have disabled the FCU.
