Lew, where are you?

Post by Mike_Levy »

You're a big proponent of Torque, so let me ask you a question. What program are you using to view the logs? And how do you get it to record the PIDs you want? I did a log, saved it in CSV, hoping I could run it through TTDyno, but it comes up that certain PIDs are missing, even though Excel shows them to be there.

Now I'm not about to go through a huge Excel file, so I need a better viewer than that. Is there any way to reverse it so that the CSV becomes a LOG so I can view it in Dataviewer? Graphs are easier for me to read than just a shitload of numbers.

Thanks.

best tool I have seen for playing back random .csv logs is innovates log works
At one point it directly supported Predator logs, and I know some tuners who have figured out how to edit the header a bit to make intune and trinity logs play back in their software once exported to .csv.

I'm not seeing how to open a csv in Logworks. Its not one of the extension options in the open log menu or the import one. The manual talks about exporting csv, but not importing them. :(

Hmm, I'll have to dig up the thread where this was discussed...

I have never logged with Torque.. have just used it to view live data while in the car... so I don't know how it's log/csv files come out... and that was back with my Monte SS.. I haven't used it at all since I got the camaro, haven't had a chance yet at this point...

I'm guessing the log/csv file it saves, the header title text in the csv file are not what ttdyno is looking for... so that's why it says you are missing parameters...

check ttdyno's site and their help section.. I believe they tell you what the data log column headers need to be in order to work....

I know ttdyno worked with diablosport data logging/csv files, as I've used ttdyno years ago when I had a predator for my Monte SS...
