Rev Limiter Not Embedding in Tune

My 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 is not accepting the rev limiter increase to 6500 through "modify tune"nor through CMR custom tune. Yes my valve train is strong enough for it, but I don't plan to shift @ 6.5k, but rather 6k. The stock rev limiter is set at or around 5800-6000 rpm, therefore I can't shift @ 6k bc the rev limiter kicks in. Any thoughts?

Hey bud, i was having this same issue on my 06 4.7.. There is no user adjustment on my end, same with my trans, but Sean (HF) tried a few times to raise it himself. Almost every attempt failed. He then said he was going to raise the Neutral/Park rev limiter to 6300 and surprisingly that did the trick. This is what he told me anyway. But I was able to shift at or slightly above 6k without hitting the limiter.
Your issue could be totally different from mine and you may have already tried this but i thought i would share it with you.
Random question though.. Do you know if dave (WL) is still tuning? I haven't heard from him in quite some time after we had been chatting about tuning my trans. Not sure what happened.
Good luck to you.

I wonder if I tried raising the rev limiter for P/N on my end if I will get the same results? I will mention that to him.
Dave is still tuning but I believe he's really busy. Most tuners that actually work hard for their customers, hold a day job, and have a family or personal life seem to be hard to reach. I would shoot him another email.

Doing it myself didn't work. Hopefully tech support knows or can point me in the right direction.

Here is a tune that the CMR tuner tried to set it at 6500.

This the tune i currently have loaded. I tried to upload last tune written so you could see where i tried to adjust the rev limiter on my end, but it wouldn't allow me to add that one.

If these logs and tune files are not enough. I can go out and do a log just for this rev limiter. Also if you notice my engine isnt enriching @ WOT until 3rd gear sometimes late 2nd. He has went through all of the WOT delay/PE tables and we still cant get it to enrich early enough in the tune.

So just to make sure everything is in order here i did another log holding the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts manually to 5800-6000 rpm. It bounced off the rev limiter roughly 5 or 6 times at each shift. Here is the last tune written and a new log. Thanks for the help.
