2012 6spdm rev limiter

I have a 2012 Challenger R/T Classic with 6spd manual, installed a custom cmr tune for JBA shorty headers, 6.4 non MDS cam, 180 stat., magnaflow res. deletes, Trinity t1000. My problem is the rev limiter, it is set at 5500-6000-6600 but it still shuts down at 5800. The 6000 limit has been set by the cmr tuner, and I tried setting it at 6200 but the trinity would not accept the change and froze up. Any thoughts on how to get this engine to rev to 6000 rpm.

Sounds like you're having the same problem as me. My 07 Ram 1500 is hitting the rev limiter at 5800 as well, and that's the sweet spot and my shift points. It's embarrassing to do WOT pulls when you go to shift and you bounce off the rev limiter. My CMR tuner has tried and so have I. I started a thread about it and added my tune file and a few logs. Hopefully they get it figured out. Good luck.

Has anyone figured out how to change the shift rpm in a trinity on a 2012 6 spd Challenger R/T. Still shouting down at
5800 rpm no matter what rpm I set it at. Other problem how do you get this thing to show knk retard on the gauges. Very frustrated!

do you have a log showing it hitting the limiter at 5800?

everything looks to be set to 6300 rpm.

You sould be able to see it in this log, My CMR tuner said that it was set at 6300 to. But according to my tach it only goes to 5800, and is pulling hard when it hits the wall at 5800.

You sure you do not have anything rev limiter wise adjusted with the programmer?

As far as I know there is nothing else set in the tuner, I tried setting it at 6000 and 6200 and nothing changed, the tuner seems to except the change but it doesn't raze it off 5800 rpm.

restore to stock, then reload the custom tune, and make no changes using the tuner.

I have already done that twice, the last time was on Monday and at that time I down loaded all the newest up dates and reinstalled the modified tunes. After the up dates I notest that the KNK ST and LT gauges were working, before they didn't register.

Mikel or Johan, Have you come up with an answer to the rev limiter problem, I have tried the things you have suggested so far and still shutting down at 5800.

It's raining out so as soon as it clears up probably won't stop till tomorrow I will go out an get you a new log.
