Has anyone got any idea's about changing out stock rear end so that we can change gears? Is it fesible? Has anyone done it yet? and with new custom tune cruise control doesn't work? Still have problem with autoshift going in a unknown gear and won't shift up or down even if u go into drive. Must stop car turn off and on to get things to work!

Which model? The V6 has the Mopar rear and you could probably get gears for it. The Hemis and SRT8s have the Mercedes rear, which gears aren't available for.

The R/T has the Mercedes 210 axle. Check with Mercedes tuners, like Brabus and see what they have available. Its the same as the C32s, so what ever they have for the C32s rear end will work for you.

The R/T has 2.82 rear end, the SRT-8 has a 3.06. Hardly enough to justify the cost IMO. Forget the fact that until DS gets around to updating the tuner software that the car will be in constant limp mode.

I have actaully seen a few guys get around this issue by messing with the TCM. (I think it was Fast56k on the LXforums).
Thanks
