cold air intake issues.

i have a 2012 ram 1500 laramie sport, with afe cold air, mufflex 18inch and the intune dcx . i find there are many, what you may call "dead spots" during acceleration seems like not enough fuel or something..its hard to describe other than takes some time for power to surge at different points on the throttle..never did that with just the factory air box..acceleration was smooth and clean...i have checked and rechecked all fittings and tightness of clamps..no leaks whatsoever. cold air i can hear no problem..only time this doesnt happen is when i WOT...which is really never just wondering if these canned tunes are meant to have a CAI

the cai should not affect it much, you can look into a custom tune if you feel there is more to be had.
