Hello all...

Well, I've been working with a GREAT guy named Frank on a new Windows app for going through our .csv log files. He is a super nice guy to work with, and created the actual app and all its complex programming and data-filtering logic himself... while I just needed to feed him info on the logs, their numbers, how I was doing my filtering in my macros, etc etc.. (I had the easy part!)

Gone are the days of manually going through your logs with my slow Excel macros... this new app - Diablosport Log File Data Reducer - takes your .csv log file, and after 2 clicks of the mouse, gives you your results in less than 8 seconds - even gives you the recommended adjustment to make to your injector slope to get your fuel trims in the recommended range.

My thanks go out to Lew (O6MonteSS) for COUNTLESS hours of beta testing, troubleshooting and mind-numbing "what the #$%^ " moments looking at data and logs.

Without Lew's help, knowledge and experience it would have been impossible to get it working this well this fast, if at all.

Let us know what you think, and what can be improved. I am sure the "tuners" out there will have many suggestions. I'll try my best to incorporate them.

diablosport needs to give 06monteSS a sallary for all the work he's done.
if it was not for Lew, and now Frank, 90% of the people who owns
a diablosport tuner would not know how to work it, or how to tune with it.

New update - version 4.0.2... for the case where you log more than 40 parameters, the app will catch it, and exit gracefully...

The app is designed to handle up to 40 parameters. If you are logging more than 40, please log fewer parameters, OR, trim your csv file before the fact (by deleting unnecessary columns) until you have 40 (!) or less.

I am presently working on an update that will allow for a printed summary page (rtf format) and prvide all of the results you see on the forms. That way you can print out the reduced results and compare them to each other on hard copy.

Hope to have that done within the next few days.

Gald the app is productive for you. Please let me know if you can think of any other suggestions to make it better and more useful.

new update... version 4.1.0... added functionality to export a Summary .rtf file... this file includes all the info/data from your log that is shown in the app... makes it easier to compare your data from 1 log to another, without having to re-analyze the logs again...

Like Mike said WOW! I just reset my LTFT this morning after logging with 8r10. The new app makes it a lot easier and faster to do the calculations!

new update... version 4.1.1... added functionality to provide a default name for the summary file when exported.

Saves some typing, potentially...

Also fixed a minor bug in the menus.

None of this changes any calculations. No need to re-run any logs.
