On the LX forum it was implied that we can now change the gear setting with the Trinty's latest software update. Is this correct? If I am still on the second revision (b) for the 2013's that was released last Sept., can I update to the newest software update and still keep my custom tune loaded on the trinity or will I have to return the car back to stock? It will not idle right or run right if I return to stock because of the new Cam.

I was told before that there was no need to update from version (b) if everything was working fine (On custom tune revision 15). But the ability to change gears is something I currently do not have.

I have the 2013 Charger Daytona with the 3.92 Getrag installed. This is a spare TCM that I want to test before sending to AJ (Arrington) to get the shift points raised.

I was one of the unfortunate ones that had the original 2013 tunes when they came out last Sept and had to send in the PCM to get the car running. I loaded up the second revision (b) and have had zero problems with the tuner without updates.

so the car is already running with the 3.92?
I would not mess with anything if thats the case....

The TCM in the car works fine but was programmed when I had the install done. Just wanting to know if the new updates for the 2013 charger can program gear changes or if I have to send it in to get programmed. I would like to know that the new factory TCM works in the car before tuning. If there are problems with raising the shift points at least I would know that it worked as advertised to the factory settings.

I am seeing mixed results in the field, there is no harm in trying it to see if it works for your specific cal.

Ok TKS, How about the question of my trinity working fine with the second update (b) for the 2013's? If I update to the latest software (g) or what ever it is am I correct to assume that it will be hit or miss with being able to change the gears? Would I have to put the car back to stock before updating the new software? Or just plug the Trinty into the computer and let it update?
