U7145 options for Shelby GT500?

I'm kind of a newbie with all this stuff, so if this has already been covered or if I sound really dumb, I apologize in advance.

I own a U7145 which I used on my 2005 Mustang GT. I have recently purchased another weekend car in a 2008 Shelby GT500. I know that the U7145 has been discontinued, and that there is a trade-in program for one of those new nifty Trinity tuners. However, I would prefer not to spend $400+ on a tuner right now. I would like to put a JLT CAI on my Shelby GT500. I am wondering if anyone can help me find a custom tune for my vehicle + CAI (93 octane preferred) that I can use with my U7145 or if I have any other options besides purchasing the Trinity. an 05 GT would have used a U7140...what do you actually have there?

Wow... you're right. The back of it says U7140. Shows you how much I know...

The serial number is d0059cb and software version is v.9r01. Anyways, any suggestions? I also got an email from Garrett working there and I will respond to him later today.

well, the U7140 will not work for a GT500....best bet is to trade it in toward an inTune or trinity.
