Can't upload factory tune!!

Post by Camaro_87 »

i have the trinity T1000 on my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 for about a year now running the 87 octane tune and now i need to put the truck back to stock with the stock backup tune. i recently tried uploading the stock tune to my truck and every time it gives me an error saying "PCM: Unexpected bus activity [48 6b 10 41]" or a couple times it said PCM: Error unlock for reflash (-1). What am i doing wrong!!??? i need to get the sorted asap. i tried disconnecting my battery and reconnecting it then uploading the tune but still no luck.

Yes I have a double din pioneer head unit that's it but it was in the truck before I installed the trinity programmer.

try disconnecting the aftermarket harness that ties into the truck.

Could I just pull the radio fuse instead of disconnecting the harness behind the dash?

Alright. I have a aftermarket remote start. Guess I'll have to go under the dash and unplug it to then. I'll give it a shot this weekend and get back to you. Hopefully it works

I am having almost the exact same problem. I also have a double din pio. A remote start system. Also alight bar on my brush gaurd, and a cold air intake. Do I have to disconnect all these or just the radio and remote start?
