caliber srt4 boost won't adjust with handheld

I have an intune and recently discovered that no matter what I adjust the boost control to in the tune it does not change the boost once installed. I found at least 2 others with the same issue that have the same calid as me. So decided to post here with advice from one of your calibrator to inform of the issue and search for a fix. My calid is 05187661AF

Thanks in advance

Vacuum lines are all routed correctly. I should clarify that it does increase from the stock 10 psi, up to the 18 psi of the diablo tune. Its just that when altering the adjustable parameters and loading the tune back into the car the boost pressure stays at the same 18 psi. I'm working on getting the tune files loaded but the boost control isn't changed on my last loaded tune. I put it back to 0% after I realized that altering it didn't do anything. Do you need both the last written tune and the original backup?

Due to the nature of the computer in these things being torque based it probably won't let you raise it much past where I tuned it to in the first place. You would need the torque and pressure limits raised to do so. That is mostly there for people that may need to lower it for any reason.

Is there some reason you're trying to go higher?

Well originally because when I got a rescale done for ns1 injectors he turned down the boost to be safe. Now I have monitoring equipment so I wanted to increase it back up.

Now I'm running the Diablo tune but it's running lean so I was going to try removing a little boost to keep afrs in check.

And lastly the biggest part is because the tool wasn't advertised as partially functioning. I'm not honestly sure the boost control is the only thing not working. So far it's still running lean and I've been increasing wot fuel. But maybe I just haven't increased that enough yet.

Let's look a the steps here:

You got "bigger" injectors

Then had someone "rescale" them

And now you're running lean and can't seem to add enough fuel with the tool which does work to adjust the wot target AFR

So I would say it's your rescale, or your injectors are not what they are said to be. I say this because I've rescaled quite a few of these stage 1s already and have not had this issue.

Also before we start with the wild accusations. The tool works exactly as advertised....

I've been using the base diablo tune since I found that I couldn't adjust boost on the rescale tune. Still can't adjust boost on the canned tune.

And yes bigger injectors are also running lean on the canned diablo tune. But I'm slowly trying to add fuel to get the afr consistently below 12.

In most of these cars I'd bet you are right. There is a small group of us though all with the same calid experiencing the same issue. Not a huge number only like 3 that I'm aware of. But still an issue with the tool playing nice with the caliber.

Ok I'll flash to that calid and see what the deal is. Everything about the tune works as intended right? Are you at elevation or something?

No sir. I'm in North western ohio very close to sea level. The tune itself makes a huge difference over stock. So it seems everything that was set by you is working fine. Just the adjustability of the handheld isn't functioning properly.

Credit where credit is due I'm very happy with the tune I love the throttle response and power. Just the random issues like this one that just need a little working out.

Intune had an update so after it installed I attempted to alter the boost level lower and higher with no change in psi.

Hoped maybe the update would cure it but no such luck.

Any word on possible solutions yet?
