Hooked up my inTune DCX to run updates and received the following message:

The current firmware revision (1r03x)
cannot be replaced by the firmware package
within Group_Update_1

No idea what this means. Then I press "continue" on the DCX and the following message is displayed:

Failed to install Group_Update.itfg

I press "continue" and I am back to the DCX home screen.

My current application is: 1r03x
DCX tune Db 1r01q(ok)
DCX PID Db 1r01b(ok)
FORD PID Db 1r01b(ok)
GM PID Db 1r01a(ok)
DTC Db 1r01a(ok)
VIN Db 1r01c(ok)
Info Db 1r01b(ok)

In addition to the info listed above, when I plug the DCX into my truck the DCX says I need an update.

run the updater again to correct this.

You seemed so confident in your reply, I actually believed it would happen.....guess what.....

Same error message:

This is really on my nerves. $400.00+ bucks and running updates has been a continual problem with the DCX; since the day I got it out of the box last year.

Honestly, it will indeed work, it has for every other intune user.

Takes less time to run it again than to come here and make a post
