Hello, im looking at getting a Diablo Intune for my truck, ive searched thru the forum and answered most of my questions, but still have two, if someone could help.
question 1-My truck is a 07 silverado(NNBS), regular cab short bed 4x4, with a 4.8, all stock except a catback. Unlike most of the silverado owners im actually quite happy power wise with my 4.8(maybe cause of the light weight), what im realy after is the initial take off and acceleration, once shes moving shes great. my understanding is this should be easily done with either of the performance tunes, because of the lowering of the torque management. Is this Correct?
question 2- Since my trucks pretty much stock, will it be worth while to have a custom tune done? or will the gains be too minimal to justify cost.
Thank You
Barry

Re: newcomer questions
1. yes, it will wake it up nicely.
2. Thats debatable, some have enjoyed a custom tune on a stock vehicle, usually if they are looking for a little more than the canned tunes provide, best to load the tunes and see what you think

Re: newcomer questions
i have not had my intune very long and as of right now its in my 2005 chevy 2500hd 6.0L and other then the hard shifts im a little disappointed with the performance. as of right now im just hoping its my lack of knowledge of fuel injected vehicles. is there anything i should be changing or updating, or has someone designed a high fuelmilage setting for this perticuler truck to keep in mind i love how it drive and shifts but i put 50 miles a day on this truck and looking for the best power for pulling and mest mileage i can get with the Diablo InTune. i know there are alot more things i can do with this product that i dont have any idea how to do but im sure theres someone out there that can surly help me on this
