original tune backup

i just bought a trinity and i am trying to download original backup and last tune written to the pc and when i click on get tune from tool it says device does not appear to have a backup or last tune what did i do wrong

you have top load a tune to the truck and let it read your stock tune before you can export anything...

that worked thanks i put the original back in truck before i tried to import
