Clarification needed on modifying canned tune for 5.7

First, let me thank you guys and gals for an awesome product. You have put many smiles on a middle aged man's face -- most of them from watching the wife panic each time I have to stop at a traffic light. LOL

I have noticed when modifying a tune or doing a change via the Quick Adjust menu, it almost seems like the car goes through a "re-learn" process. Is this truly happening, and if so, what all is having to be re-learned? I am using the Performance 93 tune (no CAI).

Yeah, the adaptives get reset after a reflash, so the PCM is 'relearning' whatever has been changed in the tune.
