When can we see a fix??

All,
Two weeks ago I was planning on switching tunes in my truck. Un-hooked from my 2005 dodge ram 1500 5.7l, to take it to a computer to load the tunes. Unfortunately i forgot to shut down the internet connection and my trinity updated. I had been running crom v1r11 for the past ~6 months with flying colors and no issues. When it had updated it moved to the new v1r12a crom file.
Not thinking I tried to tune back the back with my tunes and it got about 98% through the trans tune and failed. It got sent into a reset loop. and left me with a bricked PCM. Sent you guys the PCM and Trinity for reset. I had a very fast turn around and was impressed by the service there. Put the PCM back in the truck and tried to tune using canned tunes. Everything updated successfully and confirmed it loaded both PCM AND TCM. So i went to pull factory back ups and it failed on the TCM saying the tool was not capable. I checked the last tune written and CALID and it showed nothing at all for the TCM.
I had heard multiple instances of this happening with this year trucks and know a fair amount of guys that are having this issue. Well yesterday i called support and tried to have them diagnose it. They had me return back to stock, and then update to crom v1r12c. After the update the tech confirmed that I was able to pull a Trans CALID and i should be good to go.
So I again Loaded the Canned 87 and perf trans tune into the truck. I again confirmed that both the 87 and perf trans tunes stated that they were completed. When i went to pull a factory back up my trinity again Failed to get the TCM because "it is not capable". I then checked my CALID and last tune written and it again shows absolutely nothing for TCM tune as well as nothing for a TCM CALID.
When i got home last night, I un-tuned yet again and confirmed that i can access TCM CALID in an untuned state but as soon as a tune is loaded in the vehicle i loose all communication which tells me it is a software issue.
First question is what to do with this for now, how do i move forward and why when going from v1r11 to v1r12 do i lose all my trans ability.
Secondly when will there be a fix for the rest of the guys like me that back no TCM communication after trying to use your software, but have gotten no support in fixing the issue.

so, you had tcm tunes on 1r11?
but it would fail at 98%?

Yes, when using crom v1r11 I was running custom TCM tunes from a couple different people and never had issues tuning and un-tuning.
When i went to crom v1v12, by mistake, it was in process of loading a custom trans tune. Whether it was exactly 98% or not i cant recall but it was close to there when it failed and set me in a reset loop.

This is not so much a crom issue, but an issue that has never been fixed when the Predetor was the only tool. The varying degree's of the problem alway's surface's eventually. When it does, your stuck with what ever it caused. I'm one of the Lucky one's, even though my Predetor will not see my tcm calid, the work around i discovered does allow me to load tcm tune's. (This is after it left my truck not being able to start and had to get my Predetor replaced) I as well as other's at one time could load tcm tune's with no problem. Then on a crom update or a tune load it no longer work's. Some, it work's sometime's, sometime's not. Some it lock's up the tool in a loop and leave's the truck not running or in an untuned state. Some like Charged 392 just has no option to load anything to the tcm. (He's not the only one with that problem)
We are well aware of the Predetor no longer being updated or supported. But as you can see the problem still exist even on the newer tool's. This problem seem's to mainly effect the 05's and the 04's for some reason. This has been going on for a long time and you see someone complaining about it on the board's. Usually leaving the owner disheartened and unhappy. Also leave's a bad taste for those who do use Diablo and turn's away potential user's from even trying the tool. (Way more just lurk and read than post) Which i hate, because most of us user's love our Diablo's and try to get other's to try it. This effect's the user aswell as your cmr tuner's, being that tcm tuning/ support is just as important as the pcm to any serious about getting the most out of thier truck. As you know there have been several recently who have given diablo a try on thier 04/05's that had negitive result's. (They post on the board's so were aware of it) This leave's them afraid to use the tuner or to get rid of it. (Don't forget that the thousand's of Predetor's are still in use.) Most of us Diehard Diablo user's still stick it out with what we have. We understand that you guy's have newer tool's and truck's to support. It would be a way cool show of support if you could fix this issue for all your user's and tool's. Just wanted to bring the issue to light and let you know those of us who supported you guy's on your release of tuning for the Ram's are still there and still supporting the use of Diablo and thier tuner's.

I have the tcm issue as well (-154).... I can tune pcm stuff but I'm stuck not bein able to do tcm. I've had my predator since it came out for our trucks..was actually driving to a dyno event to buy an sct when I read the email on my phone that predator released for my truck. never had a problem over the years until this came up. I'm happy that I'm able to still tune pcm but don't know what to do about tcm...

I have let this sit a few days trying to give you guys some time. But seriously, this is obviously more than just an isolated issue. The people that posted here are just a few of the other that i know that have this issue.
The fact the they are no answers or at least a try in support from you guys is the worst part. This is where the support really matters and pays off to you guys in the long run. I would understand if you were actually responding to us and trying to get a solution. I understand things take time and not all issues can be fixed in the blink of an eye. But when a group of people come to you for a specific issue and it just gets dropped on the floor its a whole nother issue.
It makes alot of us rethink the options to continue using or go back to diablo as well as recommend them to others. I know my self personally up until 3 weeks ago would have recommended any body That asked to use your products, hell even after i bricked my pcm i still would have because you handled it well and provided good support. But now after dropping the ball on a situation like this it is taking a lot of the wind out of my sails.
Like I said, i dont expect instant gratification. But real customer support is communicating with your customers and helping them through there issues. Its not letting something die after a group of people come to you asking for help with real issues caused by your product.
Its time to step up to the plate Diablo.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but the v.1r12 updates have wrecked havoc in JKs too by messing up the configuration of the TIPM ... that only a visit to the dealership can fix. (please refer to my post on the subject)
I am off DS tunes for now and until further notice.
When they step up to the plate and own up to their own doings, I may consider using their product again.
For now, hundreds of Jeepers & Ramers in my community are just waiting to see what DS next move will be.
Cheers

I did buy mine used and per diablo I had a bad Com chip. Prior to reaching out to diablo I was data logging just fine and monitoring my truck with no problems. I then decided to load a tune up and I got a "TCM error 116 trinity failed to tune" during my tune process. I do not know if this had anything to do with a Com chip or what but I did received a TCM error the first time I tried to tune my 04 dodge ram 5.7. They have since fixed my Diablo Trinity and replaced a few hardware items. It is working great again when it comes down to data logging but I am hesitant to tune with the Trinity and loaded my SCT custom tune back onto my truck and I am just going to use the Trinity to data log. I was one with a dead truck for a few days

it was not fun

Its been a week since i last bumped this and still not even a courtesy reply from anyone from diablo... This is becoming frustrating. I not going to let this thread die because not only myself but others have this issue. I have updated to r13 to try and stay current.
It made no change, I have TCM communication it the tool when tuned factory, As soon as a tune is loaded it wont recognize or talk to the TCM or show it has written a tune. Any one reading this if you have a 3rd gen ram and are still in trinity versions >r12 dont update or you lose all trans capabilities and diablo doesnt seem to want to help.

Mike,
When the truck is un-tuned and just hooked up to the trinity it allows me to pull the cal id TCM05094258AD
When the truck becomes married to the tuner, it is unable to pull a CAL id for the transmission and just shows the PCM id
