Hey all..i am new to this and i just got my predator today..i noticed that this version is 9r12 and there is 9r30 available. what is the difference between these? will i lose something by upgrading?

old tools can only go as far as 9r12....

old tools meaning all predators? or are there certain versions of the predator that can support the higher version number? also, why would the option be available in the downloads page under the u7135 if it cant support it?

its available because most newer tools will take it.

go to tool info on the main menu and if it says hardware unknown, 9r12 is the latest.
if it says univ_rev_2, you can go to 9r30, you will lose O2 disable and COT settings if you do.

oh ok yeah your right, mine says hardware unknown. does that mean i can never have the option to disable mds?

after you select the tune choose the option to modify tune...what vehicle are you tuning?

After I select the tune and its running I don't have an option for modify tune..just quick adjust

Hello, I'm running version 9r23 and would like to update to 9r30. But I'm confused about the requirement of reinstalling my original/stock tune before the upgrade. Does that mean the tune from the showroom five years ago (I drive an '09 Chrysler 300 SRT8). I installed a supercharger in 2010 and now use a customized, non-Predator tune tune. How should I proceed? Thanks.
