everything seemed to be going fine with hooked up to the car, but after a few update screens it ultimately came up with the following:

UPDATE DID NOT FINISH
CALIBRATION UPDATE VIA DSDL
WAS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY,
PRESS CENTER KEY TO UPDATE VEHICLE INFORMATION.

but after hitting the button the trinity goes in to 'please wait' mode and never comes out of it.
i tried to hook back up to the pc with the downloader and it would not reconnect through the usb, it did power it up via usb but was back to the error message stated above.

and although not a crisis at the moment, the car will not start.

Issue has been resolved, contacted customer service, they replied quickly and they walked me through the issue and it all worked out fine. I'm not exactly sure what happened but I did push in on the e-brake during calibration update, and the owner's manual does state to not touch anything during that, so quite possible user error.
I'm looking forward to trying the device.

What steps were done to resolve this? I am having the exact same issue but I cannot get through to support via phone or email. Car won't start. Can anyone help? Since it just goes into this loop the DS Downloader can't connect to it.

please call this morning with the tool powered up in the vehicle so we can see whats going on, we will be in the office in 45 minutes.
