Cooling fans running to long

I'm having a strange problem with cooling fans running for too long. When it gets to about 190 ish, they come on and pretty much stay, at least at idol I don't no about while driving. I'm on a custom tune which part of the tune requires fan speed changes, so I realize they will pretty much run steady. I desided to adjust them to stock settings for the 203 t stat, and they still run from about 190 even a bit less and it has been fairly cool in the morning lately. They should be cycling on and off, this is AC off by the way.

if you put the stock values in, they should behave like stock...

I should have tested for a longer time, they are cycling on and off, what I have to do is fine better fans that I can run the custom cooling settings on, and not be annoyed at the noise,
Thanks for getting back

Never set fans to come on below the thermostat open temp. The lowest temp they should kick on at is ~10 degrees over T-stat setting. What kind of car do you have? I've never heard of a 203 degree thermostat. Generally, they are ~ 190, and stock fans come on 12-15 degrees higher.

All Hemis have 203° thermostats. Thats actually fairly cool in this day and age. Most are higher. My BMWs is 100°C, which is 212°F. Higher temps lower emissions, so they run as hot as they can.
