No ECUs found

Post by Andy14 »

I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3 v8. I have the Diablosport intune. When I go to put a tune on my truck it tells me to turn the key on and off like 15 times and then a message comes up saying no ECUs found.

anything aftermarket needs to be disconnected/pull the fuses for 'em.. anything like aftermarket stereo, subs, amps, nav, alarm, remote start, trailer brake/light setup, etc.. anything like that needs to be disconnected/pull the fuses for them...

then, connect the intune to your truck.. wait for it to boot up to the main screen...

then turn your key to ON position... wait about 15 seconds... and then try to install a tune and you should be good to go...

if it talked to the 08, its working, I would not expect it to talk to an older Nissan.
Check the connections on your truck, or take it to a auto parts store and see if they can get their scan tool to work.

ok. same issue on my 04 dodge ram. it will not talk to my pcm. my flashpaq talks to it. my solus scanner talks to it. a mechanic scanner talks to it. the bully dog talks to it. the auto parts store hook up talks to it. only the intune will not talk to it.

would love someone to help figure this out. all my ports from the obd2 to the computer ohm out perfectly. so does the intune use another port to talk to the computer? port 4,5 are grounds.. they check out grounded. port 2 is the data link it checks out. all the ports check out to the computer.
