Older tune with new updates?

I have a hemifever tune from a little while back. Sean's old instructions said to select the original backup given to him from which the tunes hes created. With the new trinity updates and the new flashes from dealer it's going to want to use a new backup but not sure how that would work with the tunes and I don't want to f my jeep up! 212 grand cherokee 5.7
