I hate to ask like this, but what are you basing this on?
It does not seem you did any actual testing, just SOTP?

I promise you the tool works, and will make good power on that truck.

I have an /05 5.4l with the u7151. Had it since 2010 and works great. Perhaps you missed something on setup? At first I didn't think that it made a big difference but noticed that I was getting better gas mileage. Just run it for a while and then reset back to stock. You will then see the difference. I did this for a test and now I wish to ask a question:
Had my truck in at the dealer for a recurring miss fire. The mechanic that changed my plugs last failed to torque them precisely and therefore loose plugs will cause a miss fire on each COP one at a time. After the third repair (not cheap) I asked many questions, bear in mind here that this was my second set of plugs, 2 gas line filters and once on the fuel pump modular and one side (right) exhaust manifold. Here is what I was told;
1) The left side exhaust manifold is leaking and needs to be replaced...getting this done soon
2) All the plugs should be replaced because they were loose and many misfires?.. Had all checked, reinstalled should be ok
3) Should replace all the COP ... never did or will do just replaced the one that threw an error code
4) The big issue is the cam phasers that are noisy and wearing to the point that the u7151 programmer is working against it and therefore repair/replace the phasers and tensioners and REMOVE the programmer.....This is a big repair and issue. The price quoted is outrageous! The only thing I could do at this time was to remove the programmer. So now I am running back to stock and really miss the power. But as a test, running stock has not caused any misses. Anybody out there heard of this? All the 5.4l had this issue from /04 to /08 and Ford will not admit and do anything. Please if anybody can help, I appreciate it Thanks.

I am running a S&B cold air intake.. which I use K&N
and a magna flow cat back exhaust stock 18" tires and setup for 87 octane.
Also have a throttle spacer if that makes a difference?
