Just a general question. I got it second hand and was wondering what the difference between unmarried and original backup? Would that cause a problem with a new car if it's on the original back up and not considered unmarried?

what does it actually say/
is there a VIN and calid on the next screen?

no. there is no saved VIN or called and it says last tune written: Original Backup!

that means it is unlocked/not married to a vehicle.. the previous owner of the tool has restored the original backup stock tune file to their vehicle...
