Please help Diablo predator problem

I bought a 2001 7.3 f250 yesterday. It came with a Diablo predator and he said he has the tune set to tow mode. So I decided I waned to change the tune but every time I try to put a different tune or its original tune on the vehicle the device gives an error message that says "invalid license, the tune in this vehicle does not match the last tune written" please help

what is the version on the top line of the main menu?
Has it been to a dealer since he last loaded a tune?
