It takes a LONG time to write log files.
Write time seems to be as long as the actual logging time.
I.e, after logging for 6 minutes it takes 6 minutes to write the log file.
Is this correct behavior?

yes it can take a while... the longer you record a log for, the longer it will take...
only need to record a log for about 3-5 minutes, then you can stop the recording.. that is plenty of data for whomever needs it... a 3-5 minute log would probably take about 5-10 minutes to save/write...
