Lost Tune???

Post by Kris »

Sorry I am new at this, but during a short deployment my battery died and after I fixed that problem my performance tune didn't seem to be programed anymore. I don't know if it is safe to reprogram it or even if the tune is still there, but it doesn't seem to be... Also how hard would it be to swap an 6liter in and tune it. Any help would be great or even 2 get to know the programs on it better.

Flash the original back in and retune it, however a battery loss shouldn't have caused this.

As for swapping in, you would have to get the computer for a 6.0L calibration to tune it with the Predator. Most likely, that is something you would need to go to one of our CMR Dealers for.

[quote="christina"]Flash the original back in and retune it, however a battery loss shouldnThis also happened to my 2006 silverado. I know it had to lose the programming because i changed the rear end ratio (3:73 to 4:10 posi) and the same troble codes came up as before i programed the new gear ratio in to the tune with the diablosport. (ABS amber lamp and Red Brake warning lamp beacuse the wheel speed sens cannot read with the new gear ratio). The only problem that i'm having is that my original programmer was stolen out of my garage (to bad it's just a paper weight now :b) but i do not have my original factory tune.
I have already bought a new Diablo Sport (part number U7192) and need to know did it reset the PCM when the battery died, is it safe to put a new tune on it, or do I need to get the PCM reflashed by the Dealer?

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!!!
