Hi guys and gals. I own two U7198 Predators and have been a huge Diablosport supporter since late'02. I wanted one of my Predators updated and unlocked to use in my 2000 Silverado. I have the original reciepts and I bought a product with a lifetime warranty so, following the RMA guidelines I asumed the update would be free + shipping. I recieved my RMA number and was also notified that Diablosport has changed hands, policies have changed and, so on. Basicly what I was being told was that the Predators now only have 2 year warranties, if it's more than two years old, it won't be touched for anyless than $99. So now I have two products sitting here that clearly state in the manuals they have Lifetime Warranties yet, that doesn't appear to be the case. Was my warranty taken away? How come the new owners won't reconize all the original core supporters of the Predator and give us the updates that we were told have been coming for years now?

Can somone from Diablosport please explain to me very clearly what the deal is with the warranties and updates?

So, nobody from Diablosport can answer me as to whether or not my lifetime warranty was taken away? Can someone give me a contact in management? I sent an email to sales acouple of weeks ago without a response and, Johan was kind enough to send an email up the chain which I got no reponse to.

I'm trying to be polite here but, I'm getting upset very fast. This whole situation absolutely reeks of bad business ethics.

I forwarded this entire post to the owners of the company, but it has been the Holidays, so we may have to wait for everyone to get back into the office.
Please be patient as we will address your concerns.

Andrew, please tell us about the resolution as I for one have same unit. Thanks.

Bottom line is, as long as you have the receipt for the tool as the original owner, we will continue to offer free updates if necessary.

The latest Eckler's C6 catalog says the Preditor has a limited life time warranty.
