How to delete vehicle (VIN) from I-1000-DCX device

I need to "delete vehicle" and do a "registry reset" on my DCX. I tried to copy exactly the same password that shows "The key is:" window that contains a bunch of numbers and letters but it never works. I Always get a "Sorry, wrong password" message after inputting the password and hitting "OK".

I need to return this DCX and I can still see my VIN number even though I already restored back to factory settings. I don't want my VIN number or any other car information been seen or used somehow by a second owner of this DCX.

I've contacted customer support through the Intune Updater application on my PC under the button that says "Tech Support" and no replies so far.

deleting vehicle is not necessary, if you restored the stock tune you are all set.
