2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic
I am having an issue installing my Diablo I-1000-DCX tuner in my Challenger. I tried both the 91 Octane and the Diablo Tune and they both do the same thing. Right as the install is complete and it asks to turn the key in the on position my vehicle cannot find the Key Fob. After a few min or so it magically can find the key and then the tuner gives me the green light to unplug the device and start the car. I start the car and put it into gear, the first thing I notice that is strange is as I put the car into DRIVE it doesn't engage for atleast 5 seconds and once it does the minute I take off it shifts directly to 3rd gear and wont come out of 3rd gear. Im not very tech savy

are you making any adjustments to the tune when you load the tunes?

Re: 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic
I had the key fob problem on my 2013 Challenger R/T too. A day after installing the tune I started it for the first time just to see if it would start (after reading all the horror stories) and then a few days later I tried to start it again and with either fob it would not start. I even pulled the push button out and tried it then it said damaged key and wouldn't start... I put the button back in and had both fobs in the car and it finally started but gave a message on car's screen (in the dash, not a radio or the tuner) that the key sensor (or something like that) needs servicing...
So far, it seems to have gone away and I have been able to start the car with just one fob but this is a bit concerning. I only used the 91 octane tune and since I am not the other person having problems maybe there is more to it that can/should be fixed.
