06 ram 1500 spt 5.7 crew 89 octane 4x2 pred u7137
I called the number on the support page and it told me to check the forums on a weekday. I know it's the weekend. My vehicle is a 06 Dodge ram 1500 5.7 with 24 inch rims and tires. I now own a predator u7137. the person showed me how it works a little bit. I watched the video on this site. My few questions are: Will the predator work with a Jet performance module stage 1 which plugs in the ECU? Before I experiment with the predator, can I really raise the speed limiter and if so how much? I'm trying to connect to computer, but windows 7 can't installed software to connect the predator. Any little details and extra info will gladly be used. Thank you and thanks to diablo sports and staff for creating a great product. I've seen mostly good reviews online and purchase this from a stranger for $200 which couldn't use on the 09 or 2010 challenger. 504-570-7012

Id ditch the jet thing, ts not doing anything for you.
The tuner will let you raise the speed limiter well past what the truck will do without a really long hill
Sounds like you need to install the driver for the USB to serial cable to get it to connect to the PC, try this one:

Thanks

Re: 06 ram 1500 spt 5.7 crew 89 octane 4x2 pred u7137
finally got the predator up and running. most gas stations have 87, 89, 91 octane my manual/manufacturer book says 89 recommended. the predator doesn't have that option. do I pick 91 and start purchasing 91 octane or is 91 understood as 89? about my jet module lol. I'm a lil hurt about taking the jet off. Does it hurt, help, break even, or possibility of damage/malfunction? it does does give 10hp according to its website dyno chart. thanks Mr. Mike

the best power will come from the highest octane tune and fuel you run.
From what I have seen that other device is doing nothing at all.

the predator has options of 89, 91, and 93. I never heard of 93. Never saw it at a gas station. That's why I ask is the octanes on the predator is understood as 87, 89, and 91?

I live in Texas and every gas station has 93 octane at every pump lollilphiliraq wrote:the predator has options of 89, 91, and 93. I never heard of 93. Never saw it at a gas station. That's why I ask is the octanes on the predator is understood as 87, 89, and 91?
