Ok long story short im trying to do a burnout or at least a peel out. please dont give me the "should have got a hemi" 300hp is more then sufficient to do a small burnout and i have owned a srt and 5.7 in the past and the new v6's can keep up with the old gen 5.7's. I have a tune from mike with traction control full disabled along with abs so thats not the issue. The problem im having is when i try to do the "power breaking" method esc,torque management or somthing limits the rpm's from climbing past 2k until i release the break fully then it just takes off. I did burnouts in my older 300 the same way no problem what fuse or feature holds the rpm's down like that? I have the awd fuse pulled as well in fact i can turn sharp and get a small drift/peel out going but just from a dead stop it wont let me rev it with the gas mashed to the floor. I've seen plenty threads on it but there pretty old and none ever seems to get a straight answer. i have the 8speed btw.

Due to the Toyota unintended acceleration bullshit, most cars these days cut the throttle when you hit the brake pedal. I'd bet thats why it won't let you power brake it into a burnout.

thats what it seems like cause in my older 2006 i could burn out till i let go lol using the same method
