P0520 code only with tune installed

Post by rlesch »

Hi, I have recenlty been having issues where the P0520 (oil pressure sensor malfunction) code is thrown when I have the 91 and 93 octane tune installed. When I return back to stock the code goes away. Should I just clear this code with the tuner when it shows up with either canned tune installed?

If your vehicle is still under warranty, the dealer will fix this problem for you at no charge. The tuner is simply showing you the malfunction, and I found out about it on my car even though I had the wrong tuner. Just be sure your tune is stock when you take it in for service.
