2006 Mustang GT with CL7140-Can you disable rear o2 sensors?

Post by kyle1605 »

I have the CL7140 for my 2006 Mustang GT and I just installed the pypes h-pipe. I looked through the parameters on my tune but couldn't find where to disable the rear o2 sensors. Does my model predator have that capability, and if so how do I disable them? Thanks.

I don't think the Predator has the capability to disable O2 sensoer but you can clear the computer codes. You are going to need MIL sensor eliminators. You can get those at Summit or Jeg's.

Are you getting a check engine light for no cats?
The rear O2s should be disabled in the performance tune.

Thanks

Nope, no check engine light. I was not aware that the rear O2 sensors were disabled in the performance tune...that's good to hear. Now I know that I don't need to buy MIL eliminators. Thanks for the help.
