2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP diablo tune issues

I just purchased an diablo trinity for my 2006 Pontiac grand prix gxp, and when I install any of the tunes I get an looping idle, currently using just the modified stock tune. Only mods to the car are an CAI air intake and a SLP 160 thermostat, NGK laser plugs and bosch wires. Need help please

yep, I know exactly what the problem is..

Did you update the trinity first to the lastest updates before installing the tune??? I thought that issue was fixed a long while back...

the issue can be fixed in a custom tune.. post up your ecm original backup and last tune written files...

so you're only running the stock tune? you should not have the jumping idle if you are only running the stock tune.. that issue only happens with the diablosport tunes...

so which tune do you want the fix for???

you'd need to select/install the tune you want to use - 91 octane No DOD or Diablo Tune No DOD...

then you need to post up the last tune written file after that, so the fix can be applied to an actual tune...

If i do an data log from stock could you make me an tune, and if i drive the car with that looping idle will it harm the car

Someone had told me that I probably have to relearn the throttle body, is that true?

can't make anything for you at this point, there's no template for your particular calibration.. so can't open your tune files... engineering has to create one, and from what I hear, it won't be any time soon... that's an ollld calibration, so it's not at the top of the list of things to do...

make sure you restore the original backup stock tune to the car first before going for dealer flash update..
