I have a 08 Dodge Challenger SRT8. I has a custom tune when I had a intune. I sold the intune and bought a trinity but when I put this tune it says it can't use it. Do I need to get anew tune done or am just doing it wrong?

did you put the stock tune back in the vehicle with the intune before you got rid of it?

Yeah I returned my car back to stock cause I sold the intune to buy the trinity.

OK, well, it should work fine, what is the exact problem?

I would guess that the tune needs to be converted over to work on the Trinity, the opposite way that Trinity and Predator tunes need to be converted to work on the inTune.

That's what I was wondering cause when I plugged it into my car it said the tune won't work. So I was wondering if they had like a different code or something.

where did the tune come from?
was it made from a copy of the backup file?

I am getting the same stuff with mine....same error message...no more TCM custom tune since I updated the tool

I understand your frustration, but the issue present in this thread has honestly, nothing to do with your 05-06 TCM issue.
Please dont keep cross posting in other threads that are not relevant to the issue you are dealing with, it makes it difficult to keep things straight and help people here.

The tune was for my Intune but I sold the Intune and got a Trinity. Guess I've been told they don't work like they are different files.

you need to have the tune remade from a copy of the trinity backup file.

Also how can I get this off my trinty so everytime I click on Performance it pops that window up?
