99 V6 Mustang

:lamer: so i have been trying to figure out a way to get a better launch at the starting line
i have been looking online for info and everyone keeps telling me get a bigger stall conveter
i think it is something i can fix on the programmer i have a u7145 please help

mods on the car
- hedman shorty headers
- CAI
- Dual exhust
Please help

Best time before programmer
16.2 1/4 mile

Best time After programmer
15.8 1/4 mile

I have to agree, look into new gears or a converter, or both if you want it to really get out of the hole....

ok so what adjustments can i make get a better 1/4 mile time
ive moved that 1-2 shift a little and seem a little better i have done on the track yet to see
i ordered a cable to i can download tunes if i have to just try to see what i can do before that gets here on the 27th

you can try bumping the shift points a little, to see if it helps at the track.
