DS guy please my Trinity keeps dumpin my custom tunes.

I have loaded 3 custom tunes on my trinity. If I return my car to stock it erases all my custom tunes. Not what I want. Why is it doing this. I have to keep going back to my computer and reloading them to the tuner. I down load them using the advanced tuning bar at the bottom of DS downloader.

Don't restore the original backup. Transfer the custom tune to the tool like you were, then flash it to the vehicle. If you restore the original backup after that, it will erase the custom tune from the tool and you have to reinstall it from the file on your PC. Also, I read on another thread you have more than 1 custom tune. If you are restoring original to flash another custom tune, you don't need to. Just flash the custom tune you want, even if you are using another custom tune, or canned tune.

why do you keep restoring?

the theory here was that if you were custom tuned, you needed to be tuned, and you would not be going back to stock regularly
