RE: How to build a custom tune
You have to have the CMR software to build custom tunes. No way to do it without it. There are a few people here that work for DiabloSport who have access to CMR and can do custom tunes through email, but you need to discuss what you need/want with them. Even so, you would have to have two separate tune files, and when you want to switch, upload that tune to the Predator, and then flash to the vehicle.

noz is a quick cheap way to hp, but its also a quick way to engine failure. good luck getting somebody here to give you a tune for that, they'll be taking a risk, because your motor is going to blow, simple as that....
RE: How to build a custom tune
I didn't even see the Nitrous kit..... IN that case, I dont think anyone here will create a tune for you with that.
You can tell the difference bewteen old school hot rodders and new hot rodders... Old school guys call it Nitrous.... new schooler call is "Noss".

I'm sorry if this is obvious but have you emailed or called ALL the CMR dealers shown in the LOCATOR?worm wrote:Ok guys ive tried to find a CMR dealer near me and have yet to find one that knows what im talking about. I finally found a speed shop through the CMR locator and they are local! (as within 20 miles). They gave me a price on a CMR tune (dyno) for NA and N2O.

RE: Re: How to build a custom tune
...lol i called all 3 that are in my area. Most of them just sell product i am waiting to hear back from one dealer. And i am also about to make a drive to New Jersey to a tune shop there as well to see if they can help. Sorry if this question sounded vauge but i more less wanted to know if i could change the parameters myself. Im not an idiot and have done lots of homework and want to do this right. I wanted to customize the 93 octaine tune for the regular street runs and i noticed that i need to have everything dialed in...all the mods..without nitrous...Once summer hit i would have a custom tune installed by a dealer. The nitrous is a great thing that is commonly misunderstood and yes in the wrong format you can blow your motor..but im going on 84k miles and still good. Anyway thanks for the help guys

RE: Re: How to build a custom tune
Yes, you can tune for N20 yourself easily.....
assuming your motor tune is spot on (A/F is correct, no KR) then you can simply pull timing with the tool for use with the N20.
additional fueling should be handled by the kit itself (this is a wet kit, correct?)
