GM TCC Recall built into canned tunes

GM has a new transmission recall that fixes the poor clunky stock shifting. I've noticed that even when using canned tunes mine still seems fairly similar to stock in regards to the rough shifting. I have a 2014 sierra 5.3 6spd.

I'm wondering if there will be a canned tune update to incorporate any changes that are made with this recall?

We're are you seeing this recall? I just logged onto my owner center and don't see any recalls listed for my truck and it hasn't been to the shop since last November for recall work and I don't remember seeing anything on this.

This was posted on gm-trucks.com, but I went to my service manager after and he couldn't find it either. I'm not sure what to say. I guess you can't believe everyone on the internet.

recalls go by vin numbers.. if the recall didn't show up for your vin number when they searched, then your vehicle is not affected by the recall.. supposedly...

this is why it would show up for some people's vehicles, and not for others...
