windows 8 problems

Im trying to extract my stock back up tune from my trinity to the computer but as soon as it gets to the second dowload for the pcm i get a error message. The error reads

there was a failure retrieving the multi-ECU backup from tool. The error report was 'do not support this controlller ID'

Has anyone have this problem before? Or have any idead what this issue is.

what version of dsdl, what revision on the tool, what vehcle, etc?

The tool is on a 2005 dodge ram 1500 hemi, my computer has dsdl 2.2.2.7 on it and i latest downloads. I recent got a second computer aswell with windows 7 but im still having the same problem with both windows 7 and 8
