Need help asap!! Trinity won't tune my pick up!!!

So I purchased a 2005 Silverado from an awesome gentleman who had just put a crate 5.3 in her 6000 miles ago, with a mild cam, yella tella roller rockers, Long tube headers, new water pump magnaflow exhaust the works. Truck only has 131k on the body. With the truck he threw in a Diablosport Trinity. He didn't give me the driver disk but I worked around that (thanks diablosport). But whats weird is he said I wouldn't be able to make any changes or tune it until I registered it, which is wrong? that his buddy had tuned it "for economy" to break in the motor with his tool, not sure of the make. Either way I didn't worry about it until I hit about 10000mi last week. We'll now when I try to run a tune on it it says my truck is not compatible then it tries to back up the last tune on it. It fails twice and gives up. Everytime. I called tech support 3 times. Thought forsure the last guy had it when he told me it was my aftermarket stereo that was the issue. Advised me to unhook it from the harness and that I didn't have to reconnect the stock stereo and it should work. Well I tried that 3 times, still nothing. Now in the wiring he has two black boxes. One says onstar harness w/chime. But I forget what the other says. Could it be that the on star isn't showing anything so it's towing a code and won't allow me to tune it?! Another thing is that I do not have an SD card for the trinity yet. But from what I gather is and sd card for it is just for MORE space. So it should be able to back up that old tune right? I'm lost someone please help (

disconnect anything behind the dahs that is connected to the factory harness that did not come from GM, and try again please.

I figured it out. It was the auto start and radio. Got it all tuned up now thanks.

that'll do it
